Our story

Ask Learno was founded by parents who kept running into the same problem: sitting down with their child at homework time and having no idea how to explain the question in front of them. Not because they weren't smart — but because the curriculum had moved on, the methods had changed, and nobody had given them a guide.

We built Ask Learno to fix that. Not to replace the teacher, and not to do the homework for the child — but to give the parent the explanation they need so they can support their child with confidence.

What we believe

We believe that the best person to help a child with their homework is still a parent who feels equipped to do it. We believe practice is the fastest route to understanding. And we believe that technology should quietly remove friction, not add it.

How it works

A parent photographs any homework question using the Ask Learno app. Our AI reads the question, works out the correct answer, and generates a plain-English explanation designed to be read aloud to a child. It then produces a personalised practice worksheet matched to the same question type, subject, and difficulty level. The child completes the worksheet in their own secure Child Zone, and the parent receives the score by email.

Who we are

Ask Learno is a small, independent team. We are based in the UK and our product is used by families in the United Kingdom, across Europe, and worldwide. We are not affiliated with any school, examination board, or tutoring service.

Curriculum coverage

Ask Learno supports children aged 5 to 13 across all major subjects including Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and specialist 11-plus preparation. Explanations are automatically calibrated to your child's age and year group.
