Ask Learno is designed for families. We take the privacy of children especially seriously and never sell personal data to third parties.

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe through our website, we also collect billing information which is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

Child profile information

To personalise worksheets and explanations, we collect your child's first name and year group or age. We do not collect any other identifying information about your child.

Homework questions and images

When you photograph a homework question, the image is transmitted to our servers for analysis. Images are processed to extract the question and are not used for any other purpose. We retain question data to power your history, analytics, and progress tracking features within the app.

Usage data

We collect standard usage data such as which features you use and how often, to help us improve the product. This data is anonymised where possible.

Ask Learno is a parent-facing product. The parent creates and manages the account. Children interact with the app only through the PIN-protected Child Zone. We do not collect personal information directly from children and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts.

Child profile data (name and year group) is provided by the parent and used solely to personalise the child's learning experience. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Children's Code, and applicable EU and international children's data protection requirements.
